Atelier Momoni + originally was the name of my little sewing corner for Ball Jointed Doll clothes and ArtistDolls founded in 2004.

I learned to sew when I was a teenager at the Arts & Crafts institute, obtaining a fashion & design degree, but that knowledge was resting in my mind until I got my first BJD in 2004: Momoni a Dream of Dolls Pitts.    

Never thought I would sew again but now here I am enjoying making clothes for those cute little resin angels.

After many years in the hobby as an artist, as a creator, was inevitable jumping into the dollmaking. I really love the doll collecting aspect of the hobby, and I kept searching for dolls that fit my tastes and style, that also fit Atelier Momoni’s design and style. To me it seemed a logical step to try to create dolls that I envisioned, those with the hard to find gentle smiles.

Now they seem to be everywhere but believe me before 2013 there were almost none~

Started my doll sculpting experience at 2013 using as base the knowledge on anatomy and sculpture that had adquired while studying Fine Arts at University and following different Japanese doll sculpting guides, specially the UnoaZero Sculpting guide from Gentaro Araki. Everything else I have achiever by trial and error and lots of passion and hard work.

Atelier Momoni is located in Spain, Europe. At a little tourism city in the east coast of the country. Warm temperatures, blue skies and a terrible lack of arts & crafts shops >_<
